5 People you meet in Heaven

A summary I made way back on a book I read, called “5 People you meet in Heaven”. (An excellent read)

The End

It might seem strange to start with an ending, but all endings are also beginnings. We just don’t know it at the time.

The journey - The arrival

All people are here to teach something.

The first person – PATIENCE

The blue man is there to teach us something, there are n random acts, we are all connected. U can no more separate a breeze from the wind.

Fairness does not govern life and death. If it did, no person would ever die young. Sometimes people die instead of us, it happens everyday i.e.:

Lighting strikes a minute after you are gone

A plane crashes that you were suppose to be on

We think such things are random, but there is a balance to it all. One withers, another grows. Birth and death are part of the whole. No life is a waste. The only time there is waste, is the time we spend thinking that we are alone.

The second person – SACRIFICE

The Captain –

Time is not what we think, dying not the end of everything – we think it is

That’s why there is a heaven, we get to make sense of our yesterdays

Sacrifice – we all make them, some are glad they make them, yet others are angry over theirs, they keep thinking what they have lost.

Sacrifice is part of life, it’s supposed to be, it’s not something you regret, it’s something to aspire – big or little.

Sometimes when you sacrifice something precious you are not really losing it. You are just passing it on to someone else.

The third person – LOYALTY

Ruby Pier – All parents damage their children, it cannot be helped. Youth, like pristine glass absorbs the prints of its handlers. Some parents smudge, others crack and a few shatter, sometimes beyond repair.

Be loyal to others, who moved in your life, get rid of guilt and regret. Holding anger is poison, it eats you from inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us, but hatred is a curved blade, and the harm we do we do to ourselves.

FORGIVE – no one is born with anger, and when we die, the soul is freed of it.

Sometimes we all had imagined ourselves a certain life – a could have been life, but sometimes things happen and we hold our parent, someone else accountable for the loss – the loss of freedom, careers, opportunities. Make peace – FORGIVE

The fourth person – LOVE

Marquirette

Love, like rain can nourish from above. But sometimes, under the angry heat of life love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending from its roots – keeping itself alive.

Lost love is still love, it just takes a different form, you cant do things for another anymore, you cant feel, you cant touch, smell the one you love, but when the sensuous weaken, another heightens, - MEMORY – Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it, you hold it, and you dance with it. Life has to end LOVE doesn’t.

The fifth – INFUSION (REGRET)

The Child – Why be sad! Never think you did nothing with your life, that you were nothing nor accomplished anything – that you were lost and did not belong. THERE’S A REASON WHY THINGS HAPPEN. Why you are where you are. We will be saved – we will come to heaven – HOME-

This sums it all up for me, ultimately.
